The Bijou neighborhoods are two of the South Shore’s most sought after residential area’s. However, we saw some mixed results when looking at the numbers for the end of this quarter. The number of closed sales for Bijou 1 decreased by 14.8% while Bijou 2 increased by 57.1%. The average sales price saw a decrease of 2.3% for Bijou 1 while the average price for Bijou 2 went down 4.5%. The Median price for both areas actually saw increases. Bijou 2 went up 22.8% while Bijou 2 only saw a very slight increase of 0.4%. The days on the market did decrease for both neighborhoods as did the month supply. The percentage of list price went up for both neighborhoods while the month supply decreased for both.
