Lake Tahoe, NV Real Estate is definitely seeing the impact of a seller’s market right now. From the statistics that we pulled from the Northern Nevada MLS, this side of the lake saw a decrease in almost all the categories we follow, except price. The amount of Lake Tahoe, NV real estate sales went down compared to this time last year. However, both the median and the average sold price went up. The median saw a big jump this year compared to last whereas the average actually didn’t go up that much this year. Although it obviously still saw an increase, which is great news for sellers. The average list to sale ratio also saw an increase, which essentially give you insight on your negotiation power. We also saw the days on market come down, which is always nice. This means on average, homes are accepting offers quicker compared to this time last year. It is important to note that these stats are for Lake Tahoe, NV real estate as a whole.
