Not much has changed on this side of the lake, except for an increase in price. Which is the story almost everywhere. April sales were down by one compared to the year prior for North Lake Tahoe real estate compared to this time last year. Interestingly, the amount of active North Lake Tahoe homes for sale was similar compared to this time last year with 37 this year, and 40 last. The total dollar volume and sales prices for North Lake Tahoe real estate was up a considerable amount this year compared to last along with the median sold price. This April, homes for sale in North Lake Tahoe were on the market (on average) 61 days, up from 54 compared to last year.
For North Lake Tahoe condos, the amount of listings were down from 22 last year to 21 this year. The amount of solds, however, were the exact same at 6. The average sold price for this year was $699,166, which is almost doubled from $327,333 last year. Average days on market decreased from 35 to 58.
